Robin Ruwe
Robin Ruwe is a loving mother to three beautiful daughters. Robin became a professional personal trainer once her daughters were in school and old enough to stay at home alone. After becoming certified through the well known A.C.E., American Council on Exercise, Robin found her true passion in helping clients with rehabilitation and nutritional needs and thus, became a C.H.E.K. Practitioner.
C.H.E.K Practitioners qualifications take a professional personal trainer to a higher level of understanding of the functions and dysfunctions of the human body through an assessment of factors including lifestyle, posture and movement. C.H.E.K qualified practitioners possess expert knowledge of both how the body moves and responds when it is out of balance and how it moves and responds when it is in balance. This is essential for achieving overall health and fitness, long-lasting results and a sense of wellbeing for life.
Robin has achieved success with a variety of clients, some of which she has listed below:
- A company called In-Return which is a workshop for brain damaged individuals. Robin has volunteered for a few years running a fitness program for a wonderful group of physically and mentally challenged individuals.
- Norwood Fire Department. Robin took part as the Fitness Co-coordinator organizing and preparing their fitness facility, stretching and workout programs.
- Ray Riley is one of Robin’s clients who suffered a stroke at the age of 48. Ray’s parents came to Robin for help as the rehabilitation institutions had run out of options for Ray. Over the past year, Robin has successfully progressed Ray out of his wheelchair to walking with a cane and continues to build Ray’s strength and stability.
- Individuals with various back, knee and neck issues and has been successful in keeping clients from surgery and helping them to be pain free.
- Senior citizens and athletes.
Robin wanted others to benefit from her knowledge and experience and thru the use of technology is now able to train and coach others world-wide.
